Another change of seasons is upon us, and with that we've got another quiz. What better way to get to know me than to read the answers to all the burning questions.
Autumn Asks with Emily
Best way to spend a rainy day? Curled up with a book or taking some time to draw, I've got a new set of oil pastels that I've been loving escaping to play with.
What were you dressed as last halloween? A Mime, the white make-up took a lot to get out of my eyebrows.
What's your favourite kind of weather? Cold & crisp, I love a bright blue sky and frosty, crunchy ground.
Five favourite things about autumn? Probably the colour, I love Autumn decor and getting every candle in the house lit, the food is always great this time of year too, feeding the birds and I do enjoy the prep for Christmas. I'm finishing off my Christmas collection right now and it's fab, very Cottagecore/Christmas in the Countryside.
What fictional world would you pick to live in?  Middle Earth specifically Hobbitton, although I wouldn't mind having a gander at Eomer in Rohan.
Your go to autumn outfit? Boots, jeans, quarter zip.
What's your most treasured possession? My signed Lord of the Rings production notes. I ditched school to go to the Return of the King premiere in London, I spent the day singing songs from Lord of the Rings and hanging out with a fellow bunch of nerds instead of English, PE & double maths.
Favourite autumn scents? A log fire, hot coffee & beef stew.
What's the last book you read?

Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas
What's your favourite tree? Big fan of a willow, but also I get so happy to see a Coastal Redwood. I love visiting Victorian parklands and just seeing a random enormous Redwood Tree.
Describe your favourite pair of socks? The reindeer socks my husband bought me back from Finland.
Whats on your autumn bucket list? We're going pumpkin picking at Brocksbushes, I have a long tbr pile of books for dark nights and I'll be making some beef stew to serve with my fave Autumn Cocktail the San Francisco. Look out for a future blog post, I'll be sharing the recipe for this one.
What's your favourite day of the year? Hobbit Day (Wow, that's three Lord of the Rings references in one blog post. That might be a new record)
Songs that remind you of autumn? This is going to feel a little random but
Streets of Philadelphia - Bruce Springsteen
Burning House - Cam
Stone - Whiskey Myers
Blue - Joni Mitchell
Into My Arms - Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds
For more of my Autumn music picks you can check out my Autumn Playlist here.
What random items do you use as bookmarks? Absolutely nothing random at all because I use on of my brilliant new bookmarks, I've got four books on the go at the moment and they're all neatly marked with a Wellies & Cocktails bookmark. You can find them all here.
Describe your dream house? Surrounded by trees, good kitchen, lot's of bookshelves and a log fire.
What's your drink this Autumn? Sloe Gin & Tonic
Films to watch when you're getting cosy in autumn?
Lord of the Rings
When Harry Met Sally
Sabrina (the 1995 Harrison Ford one)
Practical Magic
Fantastic Mr. Fox
Favourite cosy things? Log fires, beef stew and mashed potato, Chelsea boots, red wine & good books.
Rank the seasons from best to worst? That was really hard, I love all the seasons, by the end of each one I am ready for the next one. But... Autumn-Spring-Wintet-Summer
Can't wait to do another one of these for Winter. Thanks for sticking around
